In 2018, Peter Goedvolk and Ralph van Hof, owner of Key Valuation Partners, started a wind farm to generate renewable power from wind. The construction of wind turbines in Vlissingen marked the birth of Clean Energie, a partner of the First Dutch family of companies. The E70 wind turbines are in the Sloehaven area near Vlissingen and are designed to withstand our unpredictable Dutch weather. The wind turbines can provide electricity for about 6,500 households while simultaneously helping to avoid the release of around 10,000 tonnes of CO2 into our atmosphere compared to other methods of electricity generation.
