In 2018, Peter Goedvolk and Ralph van Hof, owner of Key Valuation Partners, launched a wind farm to generate sustainable energy from wind. The construction of the wind turbines in Vlissingen marked the birth of Clean Energie, a partner of the First Dutch family of companies.
The E70 wind turbines are located in the Sloehaven area near Vlissingen and are specifically designed to withstand the unpredictable Dutch weather. These wind turbines can supply electricity to approximately 6,500 households while helping to avoid around 10,000 tons of CO₂ emissions compared to traditional methods of electricity generation.
